Freeshots - June 2003

Hackasaw from Hartsville, Tenessee sent us some pics of his bikes and his lady friend, but has since objected to us showing them to anyone.
This is a copy of the email we received on the subject:

"Hi Dr Rod,
my friend and unfortunately client Hackasaw has contacted me with regard the matter of you using his protected material not only without permission but with clear instruction not to do so.

Would you be so kind as to take the pictures off the site, as I really could do without dealing with this one.
Thanks in advance
Antony Lockyer
Parkinson Drake Ltd. (intellectual property)"

We have no idea who Antony Lockyer or Parkinson Drake are, or why "Hackasaw" chose to send us the unsolicited pics in the first place. But to avoid the wrath of international litigation we've deleted the pics as requested. Now go hide the bikes in the back of your shed Hackasaw, just in case someone catches a glimpse of them in public.

And now for some more, er, sensible contributions:

"This will be my last e-mail to all of you. Following the personal turmoil of recent months, I have made a decision to join a guerilla force and fight selflessly for the Liberation of the oppressed Bolivian population. Do not attempt to stop me...my decision has been made. So that you know how serious I am, I have attached a picture of my fellow freedom fighters".

Allan sent us a couple of tantalising shots of his Super Vee -basically the two front cylinders off a Chevy V-8 in a HD chassis. Everything inside the motor is Chevy, even the oil pump, and it apparently goes like stink (90mph @ 2,500 rpm). Allan reckons "They never took off because they were thrown together by an idiot but are an easy fix". Awesome.

Harry asked: "Please could you put this picture of my bird on your web site? She is absolutely crazy about bikes and is quite an exibitionist". Harry, you are a very lucky man.

Back in '83 our old mate Keef from NCC Bristol built a remarkable VW Beetle trike with reversed differential and the engine mounted forwards. That's it on the left. Howling Banshee resurrected the idea and took it a stage further with this very pretty and well engineered trike. Lovely.

Linda from East Yorks sent us these pics. She says: "The white Harley is my new pride and joy and is a 2003 Sportster. The red "lump" is my hubbys Wide Glide with a 100ci RecTech engine in (it might be faster but mines prettier!!!)".

Ken Leaf's '61 Pan. Very tidy.

David from Hornsea reckons this is the first Mod !

Andy Duttons perfect woman. Maybe....

And this is how not to start a race. MPG movie clip from Lorenzo (832K).

And finally, why are these policemen looking in this wheely bin. You need to know this, you really do.
